PRACTICE
Dear Families,
It is with great enthusiasm that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal at Vintage Magnet Elementary. I am incredibly grateful and excited to join the Vintage community! I look forward to working in partnership with Mrs. Mourao and the staff as we to continue the work of advocating for all students and providing an educational experience where values and diversity are celebrated.
In 2001 I earned my undergraduate degree and teaching credential and then in 2008 I earned my Masters' Degree in Educational Administration. I have spent the past 21 years working for the Los Angeles Unified School District where I have served as a classroom teacher, a Title III instructional coach, and a Target Student Population Advisor.
On a more personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs and my horse. I am the daughter of a former LAUSD Assistant Principal and the proud mom of a 22 year old daughter who is currently overseas pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism ( I sure do miss her!). I also have two step children, one is a first year teacher for Los Angeles Unified and the other is studying to be a commercial pilot.
I am committed to working alongside the staff as we continue to provide leadership and build a structure of collaborative relationships in the school community so that ALL students have a variety of opportunities to succeed. I look forward to meeting all Vintage students and families this school year!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Bravo
